Ep. Bonus-2.png

When I was a first time parent I took things so seriously. I wanted to get everything right. It was a bit exhausting and because try as I might I got a lot of things wrong. Once I learned to lighten up that things got better. As a result, I started having more fun and enjoyed my people more.

In this episode you will hear:

  • The most common and unnecessary topics parents freak out about

  • How to balance anticipating our kids' future with being present

  • Practical tips for restoring a sense of balance, self-acceptance, and grace to their parenting

Key Points:

  • As a parent, cheating, saying no, and delegating are your friends.

  • When you take stock of where we're heading, you can be more present now.

  • Let go of trying to knock it out of the park and, and embrace good enough.

  • A great daily practice is saying yes to ourselves so you don't lose yourself in parenting.
