What Worked and Didn’t Work for Us in 2018

This is the time when many of us set goals and identify the rhythms and habits we want to cultivate in this upcoming year. This process starts off with:

  • Assessing where we are at as a family

  • Identifying the areas we had success, AND

  • Acknowledging the places where we tried something, but it didn’t work out quite the way we planned.

Not only does it help us move in the direction we want to go but it allows you to celebrate your success, mourn your losses, and learn lessons from it all. Today we will be sharing what worked and what worked and didn't work for us when it can to family culture.

In this episode you’ll hear:

  • What worked for us this year in our family culture

  • What didn’t work for us this year in family culture

Key points:

  • Scheduling things makes the difference between things happening and things not happening.

  • When creating new rhythms you may get resistance from your kids, but if it’s important to you, your perseverance will pay off.

  • Planning for work, recreation, and rest are equally important.
